Aquatic Therapy

Streamline uses techniques based on exercises and motions in water, specifically in a swimming pool, to treat musculoskeletal disorders.

In addition to helping with the recovery of an injury, the buoyancy of the water makes it possible to exercise without putting undue strain on the muscles or joints. It can also gradually build muscular strength and enhance mobility.

Therapeutic exercise can improve:

  • Flexibility
  • Balance
  • Proprioceptiveness
  • Dexterity
  • Power
  • Endurance
  • Cardiorespiratory fitness
  • Speed
  • Psychology

The ideal water temperature in the pool is 26-30 °C.
